The 10th jamboree will be marked and celebrated in a scouting and guiding community, where being together, camp life and guiding and scouting are at the very centre of all our activities and events during the jamboree. We will have time for fun and relaxation and, as always, friendships will be made across ages, groups, associations and borders. We will look back on the nine previous jamborees and try to recreate some of the activities, experiences and the camp atmosphere, which has always been an essential ingredient in creating that unique community, Vendelbo Jamboree is known for. Some might remember the first jamboree in 1978 at Bjørnager, where old-style cooking and crafts were a part of the programme. Or you might have heard of the jamboree in 2007, where we joined the world in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Scout Movement and had our activities centered on the theme ”Because we are many.” We have held large events throughout the years: like a tug of war (pulling rope) across Limfjorden (540,4 metres), inviting 1,000 scouts and guides to dinner, contesting on building fountains, and having jamboree parties.
We have had many great experiences because we are joined in a guiding and scouting community.
We sincerely hope you would like to join us in 2024, when we once more hold the World's cosiest jamboree from the 20th till the 27th of July, at Mosbjerg Spejdercenter, in the heart of Vendsyssel.

The registered groups have been sent information letters ongoing. If you have missed a letter, you can find them here:

Kiosk at the jamboree: 
At the jamboree, we have a kiosk. You can buy candy, soda pops, snacks and ice-cream.

Payment options at the Jamboree: 
• In kiosken or at the Info Desk: MobilePay and Danish cash (DKK). 
• In Daglig Brugsen: Credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), Danish cash + Euro in banknotes

Half camp - is it strictly from 23rd of July to 27th of July? 
The camp tried to offer a period where there are capacity and activities for the smaller scouts. Of course it is possible to choose the half camp in the beginning or the middle of the camp. Please just make a comment about that, when you register the group in the final registration. Just remember that the camp personal plan for the half camp to be from 23rd of July to 27th of July.

Canteen: 
At the camp, you will find a canteen where adults (leaders and volunteers) can enjoy a quiet break. The canteen is in the main building at the camp and is open most of the day. It will be closed when the volunteers eat and during big events.
You can find the specific opening hours at the sign by the entrance. Every evening it will be possible to buy a little extra snack/comfort (hygge)

Payment

Payment is in 2 parts. 

• 1. part: 50% of the final registration after 15th of April. The amount will not be reimbursed.

•  2 part: The final registration can be edited until 1st of June, and here the last 50% need to be paid - including regulations after 16th og April. After the last payment, the 1st of June it is not possible to be reimbursed. 

  For payment of part 1 and part 2 you will receive a seperat e-mail with an amount and account information.
